Wandering into poorly defined intimate relationships seems to be the MC's thing. I look forward to the day the MC actually wants to move past that.

So you're just gonna ignore the fact that she tells MC she's only 99% honest with him. Which should've been an indication that she's withholding some info about herself. That's on you.
I like Maya, but I don't think that's fair. She said that in the wake of the tasing incident, but their relationship began to change dramatically just after that.
When she was just the MC's friend and roommate, hiding her lesbian relationship could plausibly be seen as a minor, very private detail to omit. By the time she's kissing him in public (much less asking him to help with her scavenger hunt), it is no longer a minor detail. It is a massively relevant piece of information that he deserved to know. She clearly realized that too, since she was worried about how he would react. She just couldn't quite bring herself to tell him until it was too late.
As I've said before, I understand why Maya was so reluctant, and the MC really should have asked about why Maya had (apparently) changed her mind about starting a relationship. So I don't see this as any sort of scarlet letter. But it is still a significant lie on Maya's part.

I wouldn't go so far as to say life fucked the MC over, but I can certainly understand viewing it as a bad thing.
Threeways are fun for a fling, but making a stable unit out of them is... extremely difficult. Given the MC implied he had serious feeling for both of them, I can see why he would view the revelation as a serious blow rather than a jackpot.
Just speaking personally, I was very sad about the revelation for similar reasons. I liked both girls on their own, and as a couple. It's a shame there doesn't seem to be way out of the mess that doesn't leave someone heartbroken.
Of course, since this is a porn game and not real life, I will hold out hope that the trio can buck the odds (and DPC's teasing streak) to make it work.
