| Miri Sugo is a mix between Denji and Yoshida. He's hot but also not!!! 😂 Glad that Tatsuki Fujimoto bought the attention back to a "dark trio" model: Denji, Fumiko Mifune, and Miri Sugo!! This chapter may be titled, "A Chair's Feelings", but it's really Denji wanting to bang women. Also, I think Miri ain't lying when he said he's grateful to Denji that Chainsaw Man/Pochita freed him from Makima. I really think Miri wants to be friends for real with Denji 😃 |

I like how the author just comes right out and tells you shamelessly what his character designs are before you have a chance to criticize him for pulling something cheap "he's like a mashup of Denji and the student council present". he does this a lot. |
| I don't know how much of a good translation "you could sleep with all the women you want" is. Since I read in Japanese I was surprised when I saw everyone quote this line because I didn't remember it being in the chapter. The original says 女も抱き放題 which literally means "you could hold/hug as many woman as you wanted". This is a bad literal translation but I would've gone with something more ambiguous like "The girls will be all over you" or smth along these lines. The character who says the line doesn't seem as obsessed with sex as Denji so maybe that's something he could say. |

| 3/5 Decent chapter, not much content but there were many important points being made and the nostalgia factor for part 1 was off the roof Sword guy confirms his identity, has infiltrated Denji's school and has won over his classmates, much to Denji's dismay. The chair motif is brilliant as it continue to showcase that Denji is still in a manipulation bind and there might not be a way to escape it, until sword guy provides a proposition...to join the CSM cult. Apparently, other hybrids are members as well? Reze & Quanxi this soon? Don't get your hopes up guys!! Denji refuses the offer but not before teleporting to Sugo & accepting his offer xD. Never change Denji, it might be rinse and repeat but this would be a great chance for his character development. No Asa & Yoru this chapter, no break ~~ |
