| There is something to be said about "OP main character" trope and all, but this show does it right. And Frieren is legit terrifying, suppressing her mana long enough to be like "hah, no, kys" I have never before been so terrified of an anime character. |

| Frieren is so ruthless. Even for a demon, cutting off your own head has to be a pretty painful way to go. Also, considering she didn't seem to do it in one clean stroke. Always great to see more of Frieren's backstory. It was also a cute moment when we see Himmel's, "Just a feeling," response to Frieren. The same way Frieren responded to her former master. |

| The opener of Frieren and Flamme discussing about demons, that's definitely where she got the methodology that all demons, no matter how they look, are all evil. Lugner and Linie may be down for the count, but their naiveté that Aura will previl against Frieren, it all stemmed from Flamme's ideaology that Freiren was the last surviving member of her elven village due to demons, and that she decided to take her in to counter demon lords like Basalt as her apprentice, to minimize the presence of their mana and hide their true strength, a mockery of magic. The powerful human mage teaching Frieren to fool demons, but if against Aura's Scales of Obedience, the elven mage has to take her chances and act when the time is right, especially since demons cannot surppress their mana. At the near end of Flamme's life, her wanting Frieren to put a bed of flowers on her grave and to live in obscurity until the Demon King has been defeated, the years of travelling around until the Hero Party found her with Himmel having a hunch about her true powers. It's for this reason that Frieren has still managed to keep her powers hidden, especially in the face of Aura trying to measure her power when clearly, the latter far outweighs hers. Flamme's teachings has done the impossible to tip the scales towards Frieren, the elven mage who's lived a thousand years more than her 500 years. A savage kill, that is one. |

@Embient flamme's favorite spell is just regular flowers, it's not the same as the one frieren casted on himmel's statue
remember she had to search for the flower for quite a while to be able to cast that spell. it's a type of blue flowers who grows in himmel's hometown

| @Kintamaman I think it is. From the wiki: "Grows a flower field around the caster. The species of flower can be chosen if the caster has encountered it previously. The origin of Flamme's love for magic and a spell she learned from her parents. She later taught it to Frieren." So it's the same spell, just with different flowers. |

| Now i think people got the answer why frieren wanted to know more about human. She was following her master order to remain in isolation to deceive demons and that's why she never formed a party nor had any friends or family but things changed when she joined hero himmel's party. |
