Honestly alot of the newer players just dont want to learn, i never touched a pc until 4 years ago, and my first modding experience was modding fallout new vegas... manually, it was a rough time. trial by fire brother.I feel like old heads don't know about the new wave of users who are phone only and have never touched a pc.

Different times. Used to be that we went onto obscure forums looking for solutions to our PC issues only to find locked threads ending in "nvm, fixed it" forcing us to solve it ourselves or brick our PC trying. Now things have become so easy people struggle to find the appdata folder on their own.I feel like old heads don't know about the new wave of users who are phone only and have never touched a pc.

Thanks, I've already sent them and it's already fine. Thank you very much for the supportActually, Mods Settings might be okay, but the other 2 definitely need to be downgraded.
Try these versions:

You keep saying that "if you don't know what you are doing"....
...
- Manual installation is easy, but if you don't know what you are doing you shouldn't do so, and should make sure to use backups if you do.
You keep saying this, but you would be surprised how often people actually can't even do it properly, even when told to "extract to ..." whatever location. You keep saying that "if you don't know what you are doing".
Again, what is it that they need to know aside from the 1 step install of DragNDrop or extracting files directly?
Nah I agree with purple heart on this, a bug fix is still updating the game. when they have new numbers that is a new version a new version = update simple as and plural.Let me correct you a bit
- Manual setup (first time)
No need to do anything- Manual installation/update (for each mod, every update)
- Download mod archive
- Open downloaded archive
- Extract it to game's folder
- If mod is not working, you, as new user, has no idea why, unless you have in-game errors
- Look at mod's readme to check if it has dependencies
- If it does, repeat all steps for each mod dependency
There are more than 30 mods so far and, hopefully, will be more after DLC release. You tell me what's more user-friendly in a long run
- Automatic setup (first time)
- Download mod manager
- Install mod manager
- Learn how to use it by examining its user interface or by watching some tutorials
- Follow the guide how to install an extension for it
- Set up mod manager so it correctly recognizes your game
- Set up a temporary mods folder in a secure location for mod manager to use so that you won't accidentally delete all the mods you have (<- this is ridiculous step, that was sucked from the finger to embellish your point, but I'll leave it as is. It doesn't matter in a long run)
- Automatic installation/updating (for each mod, every update)
- Click `Install` or `Update` in mod manager menu to install or update mod and its dependencies in one go
- If mod is not working (which is rare case, because mod manager handles all downloads and paths for you) mod manager will display error message explaining the cause and what to do.

It's not a big deal. I've got the files up in Notepad++, so I just pull that up, click through the tabs, change a few numbers and I'm ready to go.You can just make a copy of the game outside of your steam library folders. Steam only updates games in steam folders.
IPRA Will there be a chapter 2?Hello everyone. I want to share with you a fanfic based on our favorite game Karin Prison. I have never created something like this before, so I apologize for possible graphic errors and shortcomings. Fanfic in English. English is not my native language, so if you notice any oddities in the text, it's all Google Translate. If you are not afraid of a large amount of text and 3D style, then enjoy your reading Mega View attachment 4011459
Stupidity is amazing, am I right? Reading literally two lines of an added readme file in a file they download is just too much to ask these days. I used to mod games without managers back when morrowind existed. Even created my own because of that horrible experience to merge them better. Nowadays it's just all brainrot, and social anxiety. Figures they have a hard time opening a zipfile. You keep saying that "if you don't know what you are doing".
Again, what is it that they need to know aside from the 1 step install of DragNDrop or extracting files directly?
Making use of mod managers requires you to "know what you're doing" way more than a 1 step installation does.
Making backup is a general advice for everything that you're modding, not just games, it's a common sense thing.
I agree with this. Modders...
Now if you put me in that perspective... I suddenly understand all those asking for android ports.I feel like old heads don't know about the new wave of users who are phone only and have never touched a pc.

You would be surprised by the amount of android ports that are out there. And they play the same as pc.You know what's the most ironic thing of all? Most of these games are made for pc, and the only possible way unless by a miracle there's a android/phone port, you have to use a janky emulator that breaks a lot.
